A fine German violin bow by Hermann Richard Pfretzschner II, made in Markneukirchen, Germany, c.1920 Round stick of dark-brown pernambuco, mounted in silver and ebony, with plain frog and full pearl backslide. This bow is a typical example of the Pfretzschner family, ascribed to Hermann II, with his skills inherited from his father. A beautifully eccentric model in fine condition and strong execution.
