A fine silver and ebony violin bow, made by Otto A. Hoyer "pariser" in Markneukirchen, Germany. Round stick, made of dark red pernambuco.
This bow is in a very pure state of preservation.
Otto Hoyer was the most technically accomplished maker of this big family. He claimed to have worked for Sartory, and gave himself the nickname of "Pariser" implying that his work was rather more French than German.
