A fine nickel and ebony mounted Violin Bow by Carl Albert Hoyer, of Markneukirchen, Germany. C.1940. Round stick, made of medium-dark-orange pernambuco. This bow is in very fine condition.
History & Provenance
One of many bow makers in the Hoyer dynasty. Son of the best known of the family: Otto Hoyer, and probably learnt his craft from him.
